My dad was a creative soul, always using his imagination and looking to innovate. Whether it be music, art, poetry, or an old victorian home that needed renovation; he always had a project. He was the definition of a hopeless romantic that dedicated his life to creating beauty.
A charismatic and thoughtful person, with a goofy sense of humor, that was my dad. He was a rolling stone that lived to entertain and to make others smile. There was never a dull moment, he was the life of the party. There was never a moment where he wasn't singing or whistling, he always joked that I learned how to whistle before I could talk. My fondest memories are those of him playing the piano at our home in Shawnee Hills. He was a gifted vocalist, pianist, writer and producer. He showed me everything I know about music and always supported my creativity and I'm grateful that he encouraged my dreams of becoming an artist.
He taught me to be kind to others. To live life to the fullest and not to be afraid to take risk to follow my dreams. He was an astronomical person that is now cosmic with the stars.
Thank you for everything dad. I love you.
