Ralph William Grant

Dad peacefully passed away August 30^th, 2023 a little after 10:00 pm. He lived a long, wonderful life, including visiting every state in the USA and many foreign countries. He and Mom were married over 60 years with two sons and two grandchildren. His long career in the news business including meeting at least one sitting president, interviewing many politicians, covering major news stories, and sporting events throughout his career. He officiated youth hockey for about 20 years. He and Mom were involved in community theater, including serving on the board of at least one such organization. He also served as secretary/treasurer for the local branch of his union.

Most of all, he was a great father to my brother and me, a capable, competent, and stalwart leader of the family who taught us many traditional values.

Ralph is survived by his Sons: Robert (Diane) Grant and Scott (Vicki) Grant, and Grandchildren: Christine and James. He is preceded in death by his wife Marsha Grant.

We are all saddened by his loss. My brother and I, as well as my sister-in-law, were by his side, at home, in his last moments. He will be missed.
