Ralph Dvorak

Ralph Dvorak passed away surrounded by his loved ones on September 24th, following a short battle with leukemia. Ralph was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 15, 1942, one of two children of Frank and Mildred (Friedl) Dvorak.  Ralph leaves behind his son Scott Dvorak (Ellen Shevlin); daughter Jennifer Dvorak; brother Wes Dvorak (Sharon); companion Karen Kramer; grandchildren Zach Dvorak, Samantha Lint, Mitchell Dvorak; nieces Tiffany and Renee Dvorak, The Kirk Family; and many very close friends.  Ralph was an alum of Bishop Watterson High School and Tri-State University where he studied Business Management.  Ralph enjoyed a long career in hospitality management.  He was a passionate sailor and avid woodworker.  Ralph was a founding member of the Alum Creek Sailing Club and enjoyed the camaraderie of the sailing community through competing and teaching.   Ralph loved his life and was a passionate storyteller. His boisterous laugh, positive attitude to the world, and his joy touched many who won’t ever forget him.  Family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday September 29th, 2015 from 6 – 8pm at SHAW DAVIS FUNERAL HOME CLINTONVILLE CHAPEL, 4341 N. High St, Columbus 43214.  A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday September 30th 10:30 am at ST. PAUL THE APOSTLE CATHOLIC CHURCH 313 N State St, Westerville, OH 43082. Father David E.
