Philip Christ

On April 27th 2022 , Philip J. Christ, born March 12th, 1937, loving father of

Jacqui, Tony, Scott, Jill, Julie, loving brother Tom Christ and family, Grandfather of

Emily, Megan, Tony Jr, Devin, Jacob, Audrey, Allison, Zachary, Dillon, Nick, Trevor,

Tanner, Abby, and Great Grandfather of Davin, Reagan, Riley, and two others on the

way, passed on to be with his savior at the age of 85. A retired Columbus Battalion

Chief, Phil served 40 years in the Columbus Division of fire. Preceding him was his

wife, Joyce Christ ,who passed away in 1984, his parents Frank and Florance Christ

and brother Mike Christ. A father, grandfather, great grandfather, neighbor, co-worker,

chief, husband, veteran. On this day, we remember a man who impacted the lives of

all those around him. A funeral mass will be held Thursday June 2, at 10:30 at The

Church of the Ascension in Johnstown Ohio. In lieu of flowers please make donations
