Perry Franklin Leasure

Our beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend received his eternal reward on August 30, 2022. Son of Luther Eldon Leasure and Virginia Wolfe Leasure. Born January 17, 1938... age 84 left this world for his heavenly home, peacefully.

He was in the Air Force after high school, 1955 through 1959. Met and married the love of his life Juanita Harvey, May of 1960 until the Lord called her home, January 1989.

His love for people shined though him.

His smile and laughter at all of his great humorous jokes, he loved unconditionally and cherished all his family and friends.

Pop was a volunteer firefighter for the city of Columbus for several years and loved hanging out at Station 13 on Arcadia Ave with the guys.

Pop was an avid gardener and loved his paint by numbers he painted and gave away framed.

People could hardly believe they were not done by free hand. He once owned a purple Plymouth Duster for the love of color.

He retired from Ohio State University in 2001 with the love of Buckeye sports, football, basketball, blue jackets, and other sporting events.

His shouts and hollers 'Go Bucks’! ...it was so loud he made you Jump... While it was on the big screen in the living room when they made an outstanding play.

Later in life while working at OSU he met a great companion and friend he loved and married Ann Polites who retired from OSU, who recently passed in March 2022.

Our Poppy will be dearly missed by his beloved family.

He leaves us now to see us again one fine day....
