Peggy Hurley

Peggy Jo Hurley, 56, of Columbus, passed away surrounded by family on April 24, 2019. Peggy is preceded in death by father Robert Bacelieri and grandparents Pearl and Theo Moody. She is survived by husband of 38 years James “Troy” Hurley, daughter Jennifer Hale, mother Jennie Bacelieri, sister Kay Dinsmoor, brother Howard Schmidt, grandchildren Eric Sobers and Torrea Bacelieri, and mother-in-law Linda Limley.

Peggy served the Hamilton Township schools for 24 years, and was well loved by the students and staff alike. She lived to dote on her grandchildren who were her whole world. Peggy was a fighter, battling cancer for 2 years, there was no denying her strength. She will always be remembered for her happy bossiness.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on May 1st, 2019 at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Homes Short North Chapel. Visitation will be from 5 pm to 6 pm, with the service beginning at 6 pm.
