Pearl Bell, age 66, died unexpectedly on October 3, 2020, at Select Specialty Hospital. She was born March 22, 1954 in West Memphis, Arkansas the daughter of Ester Bell and Louise Gates (Driskell).
Pearl was the sweetest lady of all time. She was a High School graduate and attended some college. She had certificates in Cosmetology and Nursing. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her daughter and her grandchildren, listening to music and watching her favorite television shows.
She was preceded in death by her mother Ida Louise Driskell, father Ester Bell, brother Larry Bell, and sister Anegela Driskell.
She leaves to cherish her memories her only child and daughter Letictia (Bell) Douds, She liked to be called Nana and not Grandma. Grandsons Lasheem Curry, Le’Ron Douds, her favorite grandchild and only granddaughter Leilani Douds, and 1 great-grandson Lakai Curry, sister Linda (James) Stewart, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends.
Services in her honor will be held on Friday, October 23, 2020 at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Homes Clintonville Chapel, 4341 N High St., Columbus, Ohio 43214. The family will receive guests from 11 am to 12 pm, with the funeral service beginning at 12 pm. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, the number in attendance will be limited to 50, masks and social distancing will be required while inside the funeral home. For those unable to attend, but still wish to participate, there will be a live stream of the service on Livestream.com at https://livestream.com/shaw-davis/pearlbell . Reverend Stanley Wood is conducting the services.
