Preceded in death by wife Carolyn Jean Harrison Williams, father Walter W. Williams and mother Rose M. Williams. Survived by daughter, Sara Williams (Jesse Gravlin) mother to his beloved granddaughter Samantha Rose Gravlin and son, Harrison Williams; sister, Judi (David) Huff; mother-in-law, Blanche S. Harrison; brother-in-law Samuel F. (Michele) Harrison, Jr.; nieces, Kaci Huff, Jennifer Harrison Sy (Sovann), Kate (Amanda) Harrison; great-nephews, Oliver Stecker and Gabriel Harrison; great niece Vivienne James Harrison. Paul Williams, a ’66 graduate of Columbus South High School, grew up in southeastern Columbus, in the shadow of Ohio State Stadium. A firm believer in his hero Woody Hayes' philosophy of Pay it Forward, Paul radiated joy and peace to whomever he met, sharing a joke and a smile. He dutifully served his country, enlisting in the United States Army for the Vietnam War, and returned home to start a life for himself. He found that life in Jean Williams. They spent the next 43 years together, sharing their unconditional love with their two children, Sara and Harrison. He earned his bachelor's at Ohio Institute of Technology and spent his career in the field of electronics manufacturing. Raised a third degree Freemason, Paul served in 1996 as Worshipful Master for Compass Lodge #9 Wallingford, Connecticut. As a husband he found true love. As a father he taught us how to appreciate life. As a man he was a singular individual. He will be missed every day. The family will celebrate his life privately. Donations may be made to American Cancer Society in remembrance of Paul.
