Patrick Kaufman

Patrick David Kaufman, age 40, passed away Thursday September 13, 2018 after a 10-month battle with Melanoma. He held two masters degrees from The Methodist Theological School in Ohio (MTSO) and Regent College. He was a co-founder of Franklinton Farms a Columbus Urban Farm. He was the Director of the Community Food and Wellness Initiative at MTSO. He was a community activist and cared deeply about healthy food access for all people. He is survived by his best friend and wife Karen, 3 amazing children Jeremiah, Emma and Christian, loving parents David and Marion Kaufman, sister Stephanie (Marcus) Loree, grandparents Ruby Kaufman and George Beyer, a large family and a wonderful community. A celebration of life will be held at MTSO 3081 Columbus Pike Delaware, Ohio 43015 at 11 am on Tuesday September 18, 2018. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Franklinton Farms or MTSO.
