Patricia Van Leuven, 61, of Columbus, passed on Sunday, October 30, 2016 with family at her side. Her love for science fiction and space exploration was exceptional. Pat was known for her strength and dedication; she devoted her life to her family and the needs of others. She received her B.A. from Ohio University. Her favorite pastimes were reading, sewing, and the company of her late dog, Buster. Pat loved her roses, road trips, and star gazing. She was born to the late Claire and Joseph Cyr on January 25, 1955 in Tarrytown, NY. She is preceded by her sister, Joanne Miller. Pat is survived by her loving husband Peter Van Leuven of 36 years, daughter Carrie Miller, sisters and brother Theresa Lowery, Carol Cyr Taylor, MaryJane Boughton, Lorraine Musico, Michelle Himes, and Michael Cyr. A memorial will be held November 3, 2016 at Shaw and Davis: 4341 N High St, Columbus, OH from 3-5 pm with memorial service at 4 pm.
