Patricia Terrell

Patricia Ann (Gaffey) Terrell, 64, passed away October 4, 2018 in Westerville, Ohio. Born December 3, 1953 in Joliet, Illinois, Patti lived and worked in Owensboro, Kentucky and recently retired to Westerville, Ohio where she enjoyed spending time with her son, Sean, daughter-in-law, Amanda, and grandson, Brendan. She is preceded in death by her mother Jean (Murphy) Gaffey and her father Thomas William Gaffey. She is survived by her son Sean (Amanda) Terrell and grandson Brendan, Westerville Ohio; brother Thomas (Jane) Gaffey, Elizabeth, Colorado; her sister Barbara (Carl) Steinhoff, Fort Myers, Florida; nieces Natalie (Mick) Steadman, Centennial, Colorado; Lauren (Sean) Moore, Alexandria, Virginia; Melissa Gaffey, Denver, Colorado; Carl “Trey” Steinhoff, Tampa, Florida; and great nephews and niece: Tanner, Liam and Olivia. Patti owned and operated Wordmaster Medical Transcription Services, and had previously been an active member of St. Stephen Cathedral, St. Joseph Peace Mission and numerous other organizations. Patti’s passion for life was evident in her love for her family and friends. She was dedicated to helping others; upon Patti's death her body was donated to the Ohio State University James Cancer and Research Center to help find a cure for a disease that affects so many.  All are invited to celebrate her life on Saturday, December 1st at 4pm at Brescia College Chapel.
