NAMEN

Patricia Lynn Pate Namen, passed away peacefully in her home on July 23, 2015 with her husband, Gary by her side. Patti was born in Salem, NJ on August 3, 1950 to Austin L. Pate and Lemma I. Ward Pate. She is survived by her husband Gary Gowins of Columbus, her son Jeremy Namen of St. Louis, MO, her granddaughter Sylvie Namen, of St. Louis, MO, her brother Vernon Pate of Aldine, NJ, her sister Jean and brother-in-law Aris Ziatis of Zephyrhills, FL, and her sister Sue and brother-in-law Francis of Pilesgrove, NJ. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Doris Meyers Klaus of Akron, OH, her sister-in-law Shirley Pate of Aldine, NJ, her high school fiancé Thomas H. Jones, killed in the Vietnam War, her adoptive parents Jane and Hubert Jones of Salem, NJ, many nieces and nephews, as well as, grandnieces and grandnephews, and her beloved dog, Brutus. Patti was a talented artist expanding her works through one of her cancer survivor groups. She also worked as a real estate agent, a hairdresser, and a waitress and banquet server. Patti has lived in Columbus since graduating from high school. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Shaw-Davis Funeral Home, Clintonville Chapel, 4341 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43214. A visitation of friends will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The service will begin at 11:00 am.
