Patricia Donovan

Donovan, Patricia Ann (Kolner) passed away peacefully on October 3, 2018.   She was born April 18, 1947 in Fairview Park, Ohio, and was the devoted daughter of the late Carl and Margaret Kolner.

She is survived by her brother Mike Kolner (Carol and two nephews, Scott and Jeff, and their family), as well as her four children: Sean (Amanda); Heather (Steve Meade and grandsons Brandon and Logan); Frith Elizabeth (Steve Berry and grandkids Jonathon, Bryce and Alexis); and Christian (Laura and granddaughter Layla).   She grew up in Salem and Mantua, Oh, graduated from Kent State, and worked most her career as a special education teacher living in Ravenna and Upper Arlington, Oh.

She showed us courage in her fight against Pancreatic Cancer.  She was sustained by her family and dear friends, new and old, and was grateful for every day.  She loved the outdoors, Lakeside OH, Camp Akita, hiking, biking, traveling and gardening.  She lived a rich life.

A service in her honor will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 12th at First Community Church, North Campus, 3777 Dublin Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221.   A reception will follow.
