Pamela Sue Weiser-Prater

February 8, 1952 — March 12, 2025

Pamela Weiser-Prater passed away peacefully in her sleep, bringing a quiet close to a life of strength, curiosity, and independence. She was a loving and unforgettable presence, always marching to the beat of her own drum. With sharp intellect, quick wit, and unfiltered honesty, she kept people on their toes. She found joy in animals, history, and reading, while gardening brought her a deep sense of peace. A true flower child at heart, Pam embraced the free-spirited ideals of her generation, always eager to learn and explore.

A graduate of Walnut Ridge High School, Pam spent over 30 years as an administrator in the legal industry, bringing intelligence, organization, and a no-nonsense approach to her work. While she never sought the spotlight, her dedication made a lasting impact. Music was a constant in her life—she was deeply connected to the sounds of her youth and embraced many genres, always filling her space with a soundtrack. Her playful, sometimes ornery sense of humor brought laughter and warmth, and her sharp wit will be deeply missed.

Known as "Peep" to those closest to her, Pam is survived by her sisters, Gayl Weiser and Tracey Bennett (Jay), along with many nieces, nephews, and other family members who will miss her in their own ways. She was preceded in death by her loving parents—stepfather Robert Weed, mother Ruth Weiser-Weed, and father Don Weiser.

Pam’s quiet faith, strength, and humor made her truly unforgettable. Her quick wit and playful spirit brought joy to those around her, while her tender heart left a lasting impact. The love and laughter she shared will be cherished always.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pam’s memory to the Susan G. Komen Foundation to support breast cancer research and awareness.
