Nancy Siclair 1947-2022

Nancy Jo Siclair, age 74, passed away at her home in Columbus, Ohio on April 22, 2022. She passed with her brother and her partner by her side.

Nancy was born to Kathrine and Tony Siclair in Galion, Ohio. She graduated from Galion High School, class of 1966. She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from The Ohio State University. She made her career at OSU where she worked for 20 years as a distinguished employee in student admissions. She loved her work, fellow employees and all the people she was able to assist.

After retiring, Nancy remained active and maintained her affection and concern for all those she came in contact with. She also become an exceptional cook, even supplementing her income with her culinary skills. Nancy was also an avid reader of all types of literature.

Nancy had an outgoing and infectious personality that made her endearing to everyone she met. Nancy’s quick wit, sense of humor, sincerity, and kindness touched everyone she knew. She will be missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know her and will always be part of our memories and remain forever in our hearts.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, and Richard, a long time companion.

She is survived by her brother Mike Siclair and his wife Karen, her nephew Brett, several cousins, her beloved dog Ruben and by her devoted and loving partner Larry Scott.
