Nancy Carol Krieger, age 86, born September 22, 1933, in Zanesville Ohio to Wendell and Isabell (Conway) Roberts. Married Robert (Bob) Joseph Krieger on November 12, 1957 at Grace Methodist Church in Zanesville, Ohio. Graduated from The Ohio State University (OSU), with a Bachelor’s of Nursing. Nancy taught at OSU School of Nursing in Obstetrician Gynecology (OB/GYN). She was employed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with Bethesda Hospital (now Genesis Hospital in Zanesville Ohio), OSU School of Nursing, and Columbus City Schools. Longtime resident of Columbus and Worthington, Ohio for over 40 years. She enjoyed hobbies including gardening, tennis, golf, and singing for many years with the United Methodist Church choir. Nancy was a long time and dedicated OSU Buckeye fan where she and Bob attended OSU games for over 20 years. Nancy was also a lifetime honorary member of the Garden Club of Ohio and past President of the Worthington Hills Garden Club from 2003-2004. Under her Presidency, the Worthington Hills Garden Club won Garden Club of the Year in Ohio and was awarded numerous awards for her flower/design arrangements. She also loved traveling and entertaining with friends, charitable work (including Compassionate Friends, Shriners Club of Ohio, and Christ Child Society of Ohio). She was a member of the OSU Faculty Club, Worthington Hills Women’s Club, and Ohio Nursing Association. Nancy is survived by her children, Timothy C. (Suzanne) Krieger and Elizabeth (Betsy) Krieger; grandchildren Alexandria (Allie) B. Krieger and Brad B. Krieger. Proceeded in death by husband, Bob Krieger (age 86) and son, Richard Joel Krieger (age 22). In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to any of the following charities:
