Myrtle Malling
July 28, 1926 — November 15, 2016
Myrtle “Marie” Malling, age 90, passed peacefully on November 15th, at home surrounded by loved ones. Born on July 28, 1926 in Jewett, Ohio to Joe and Mabel Byers. She was a long time member of North Community Lutheran Church and retired from the Marburn School. Marie loved to travel the world, garden and entertain friends and family. She will be remember for her sweet smile, unending kindness, grace and lighthearted sense of humor.
Marie survived by her sister Wilma, brother Clifford “Johnny” Byers, daughter Cindy (Malling) Alexander, grandchildren Brian (Michelle) Jones. Adam Jones, Meredith (Josh) Harrison, Kevin Malling Jr., Kelly Malling and Krystal Malling and multiple great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years Jack Malling, and son Kevin Malling.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 25th at 11am at Fairview Memorial Park, 325 S Sandusky St, Delaware, OH 43015. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Central Ohio. To sign and view the online guest books please visit www.shaw-davis.com.
