Murry J Mercier III

Murry James Mercier III, Worthington, Ohio, 89, peacefully passed away in his home on November 27, 2023.

Murry was born in Columbus, April 2, 1934 to Murry and Evon Mercier.  He graduated from Grandview High School before joining the Air Force serving at Chanute Air Force Base in Illinois.  Murry attended The Ohio State University, receiving a B.S. in Physics and MBA.

Murry is preceded in death by his parents, Murry and Evon Mercier, and his Sister Joan Mercier.  He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jacqueline (Horn) Mercier, Children Murry (Maureen) Mercier, Jeannette (Keith) Hart, Grandchildren Murry (Ashley) Mercier, Melissa Mercier, Keith Hart and Maria Hart.

Murry retired after 39 years at Battelle Memorial Institute to his new passions focused around his beloved Triumph TR6 as a founding member of the Buckeye Triumph Club.  Other hobbies included travel, photography and flying gas powered model airplanes.

Memorial Services will be held at Riverside Bible Church, 5330 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio 43235, on Dec 16, 2023 at 11:00 am with lunch to follow.
