Michelle J Shull

Michelle Shull (Milburn) aged 61, passed peacefully from this life on February 12th, 2025 surrounded by family at Kobacker House. Michelle was born October 10th, 1963 to the late Ronald and Linda (Hatfiled) Milburn in Columbus, Oh. A proud 1982 graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School. Michelle is survived by her four children: Malissa, Anthony, Joseph and Hannah. Michelle is also lovingly remembered by her siblings: Lisa (Mike), Chris, Jeri, and her twin brother, Michael. As well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Linda Milburn, and her brother, Ronald Milburn Jr.

Throughout her life, Michelle exemplified selflessness and compassion, always putting others before herself. Whether she was comforting family and friends, helping strangers in need, or offering a kind word to someone struggling, Michelle's warmth and generosity knew no bounds. She approached life with a steadfast belief that, no matter the obstacles, everything would work out in the end. Her faith in God supported her through every challenging moment and intensified moments of peace and joy. 

Michelle’s love for her children and family was immeasurable. She treasured watching her children grow, and her greatest joy was being a constant source of love, no matter the distance between them.

In her career, Michelle found fulfillment in the service industry, most recently with Big Sandy, where she enjoyed the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life. The relationships she built through her work brought her immense joy, and her passion for helping others never waned. Michelle had long dreamed of becoming an interior designer, and through her work, she was able to express her creativity and passion for beauty in ways that brought her satisfaction and purpose.

Please join us as we celebrate Michelle’s life on February 17th, from 4-7 p.m. at 34 West 2nd Avenue Columbus, OH 43201. There will be a short service at 6:15pm. We ask you to fill the room with bright spirits and clothing, and we welcome you to share your memories and honor her as we come together to celebrate the remarkable woman she was.
