Michael W Remy

We suddenly lost Michael W. Remy on October 13, 2022 at 71 years of age.

Mike was born July 28, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio where he lived the majority of his life. He was preceded in death just nine days prior by his wife, Margaret (Snivley) Remy, and earlier by his parents, Wayne and Mary Remy, and his sister Sheree Remy. He is survived by his two nieces, Molly Handzel and Darby Brockman.

Mike is also survived by his stepchildren, Dee Dee Galat and Charles Bradley, as well as 4 grand nieces/nephews, 5 grandchildren &  2 great-grandchildren along with numerous cousins from the Remy, Brockmeyer and Snivley families. 

Mike was a graduate of West High School where he excelled in football and track. Mike worked for 23 years at Camp Mary Orton, which held a very special place in his heart as he had spent summer days there in his youth.

Mike had a love for horse racing, and he along with other family members were owners and trainers.

Family and friends will remember Mike for his knack for connecting with people with his combination of gab, gruff and good heart.
