Michael Paul Pond

Michael Paul Pond, age 80, born in Columbus, Ohio passed away on Friday, October 28^th, 2022.

Son of Harold Pond and Cornelia Powers, Mike grew up with 8 brothers and sisters: Robert (deceased), Ann, Timothy, Jon, Kathy, Peggy, Laurie and James. Mike attended Immaculate Conception School, Bishop Watterson High School and The Ohio State University before joining the Marine Corps. Mike had then met his wife Bonnie Pond (deceased 2018) and shared an amazing 52-year marriage.

Mike enjoyed being with his family, boating, golfing, and watching his beloved Buckeyes.  He was a gentle, kind, and loving person who was always complimentary and supportive to those around him.  

He is survived by his daughter Paige (Pond) Dutcher and her husband Bill, Bryan Pond and his wife Julie, Erik Pond and his wife Mandy and 10 grandchildren: Abbey, Austin, Nicholas, Dawson, Caroline, Michael, Bradley, Dylan, Hayden and Calvin.  

The funeral will be held at St. Joan of Arc in Powell, OH on Friday, November 11th at 11:00 AM.  Immediately following the funeral, there will be a bereavement meal served and time set aside to meet with the family and friends to remember Mike.
