Michael Glenn

Michael Dalton Glenn of Columbus Ohio, passed away peacefully at Riverside Hospital on May 26, 2022. Born August 28th, 1948, Mike would be adopted at birth by Leonard and Anne Glenn, who preceded him in death. A 1967 graduate of Central HIgh School, in downtown Columbus, Mike would go on to study ministry at Evangel University in Springfield Missouri before meeting the love of his life at a church function in 1971. After 3 months they would marry in January 1972 and be together for over 50 years. Mike is survived by his wife, Joanne Lee (Tilley) Glenn, sons Christopher Michael and Timothy (Liza) Glenn, along with 7 grandchildren Trinity, Dean, Brayden, Aurelia, Jane ,Trenton and Darla.

Michael was a Harley Davidson lover who always wanted his own,. He also enjoyed going to Myrtle beach to see the ocean every year for over 20 years and actually lived in Pawley’s Island South Carolina for 3 years. Mike was also a heart transplant recipient, being on the donor list for over a year, he received his new heart in March of 2011 and had 11 more wonderful years with us.

There will be a memorial/ celebration of life service on Thursday, June 2nd at the Gospel Light Baptist Church at 35 S. Galena Rd, Sunbury Ohio, 43074. Family will be receiving friends and family starting at 5:30pm, with service starting at 6:30pm.
