Michael George

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Michael Alexander George on April 3, 2019. Born January 28, 1996, Michael was a cancer survivor, a great son, father, grandson, nephew, and friend. Michael graduated from Olentangy Orange High School. Everyone will remember his kindness, weird sense of humor, his great smile, and energy. He loved movies, video games, and “too” heavy metal music. He was a young, up and coming, still budding chef at Z Cucina di Spirito in Grandview. Michael truly loved to cook. His delicious pot de creme will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by his uncle, Christopher George, grandfather, James George, and step-grandfather, Lloyd Conrad, Michael is survived by his son, David Michael George, father,Jamie Honel George, mother, Stephanie Glover, siblings Marshall and Ashley Glover, Grandmother, Nancy George, Aunt Jodi (JoJo) and Uncle Erik McNeal, cousins Adam Tilley and Morgan Nichols, many loved extended family members as well as so many close friends that he loved like family. The family will receive visitors at Shaw-Davis Funeral Chapel, 34 West 2nd Avenue, Columbus, OH 43201 on Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m., followed by a memorial service from 3-4 p.m. Following the memorial service, friends and family are invited to Z Cucina di Spirito, located at 1368 Grandview Avenue, Columbus, OH 43212 for a small celebration of Michael’s life. In lieu of flowers,donations may be made in Michael’s honor to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Central Ohio Region, 2545 Farmers Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43235.
