Michael Ashmore

Michael B. Ashmore, 57, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Kobacker house after a brief battle with cancer.

He was born on November 16, 1961 in Cincinnati, a son of the late Ronald Dale and Mary Catherine (Hill) Ashmore.

He was a member of the Northland High School class of 1980 and subsequently graduated magna cum laude from Marshall University.

Mike spent twenty years working in industrial sales and later served as Special Events Coordinator for the Consortium for Entrepreneurial Education.

He dearly loved his family, a good soapbox to stand on, his friends, numerous cocker spaniels (plus one beagle), his motorcycles and political discussions.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, David and Mark Ashmore. He is survived by his love Rebecca Cassidy of Columbus; a son Christopher (Sarah) Ashmore of Ashland, KY; a daughter Rebecca Jordan of Ashland, KY and four grandchildren: Michael and Taylor Ashmore of Ashland, KY and Caleb and Ethan Drawdy of Willowood, OH.

He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
