Melody Julian

In Memory of our Sweet Melody

Born: October 26, 1955  Died: January 25, 2021

Melody Ann Romack was born to Allen and Dana Romack on their third generation farm near Sharpsville, Indiana. She was a 1973 graduate of Tri-Central High School in Tipton County and a 1980 graduate of Anderson University, Anderson, Indiana with a degree in Elementary Education.

Melody was a devoted and loving wife, mother, educator, confidante and friend to so many. She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and served in the church all of her life as a teacher, Children’s Director, pastor’s wife and hospitality areas. Melody also had the privilege of homeschooling her three children. Words of many describe her as gentle, caring, a beautiful smile and most often, sweet.

She married Timothy Julian of Kokomo, Indiana on December 31, 1976, who survives in Columbus, Ohio.

She has three surviving children: Aaron, and spouse Jasmine, Julian of Elkmont, Alabama; Jonathan Julian of Oakland, California; Marissa, and spouse Eric, Daugherty of Powell, Ohio. Also surviving are two siblings: Nancy, and spouse Fred, Harris of Kokomo, Indiana; Jim, and spouse Carol, Romack of Galveston, Indiana. She also leaves behind 9 grand children who will forever miss their Mimi and too many family members and friends to count.

Melody was a vibrant and active lady until ALS began to affect her body in 2019. This terrible and terminal disease took another beautiful soul much too quickly from our midst. A memorial service will be held at a future date for family and friends.
