Melissa Ann “Mel” Rady
Age 53
Devoted mother to Edmund Rady-Peters and loving partner to Christopher Peters, Melissa died at her home in Grandview Heights, Ohio on September 26, 2018 after battling uterine cancer.
Melissa was born on December 17, 1964 in Toledo, Ohio to Stephen and Ellen Rady.
She graduated from Notre Dame Academy, Toledo, Ohio, in 1983 and The Ohio State University in 1987 with a degree in Industrial Design.  She also studied Fine Arts at The Columbus School of Art and Design.
An accomplished artist, Melissa ran her own graphic design business from her home in Grandview Heights.
Melissa is survived by her son Edmund; her partner Christopher; her parents Stephen and Ellen Rady of Toledo, Ohio; her brother, Stephen and his wife Amy Rady of Filderstadt, Germany; her sister, Shari Rady Greenland of Cleveland, Ohio; nephews and nieces Zachary Rady, Hannah Greenland, Fiona Greenland and Nathan Greenland; aunts; uncles; cousins; and numerous friends from far and wide across the United States.
The Life Celebration for Melissa will be at 2 P.M., Saturday October 6, 2018 at the Columbus Center for Spiritual Living, 2436 West Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43235.  A light reception will follow at the Masonic Temple.
