Maureen Schneider

Maureen Helen Schneider of Columbus, Ohio left this world, surrounded by her loving family, and entered Heaven’s gate to be with her Lord on 12/18/2018. She was born Maureen Sherman on 12/9/1948 in Springfield, Ohio to her widowed mother, Maxine Eulitt Sherman. She was preceeded in death by her father, Edgar Sherman; son, Patrick James; mother, Maxine Iavarone and nephew, Samuel Porteous IV.  Maureen is survived by her daughters, Deborah and Melissa Schneider; step-grandchildren, Nick and Chris Catharine, Leslie Marcum and Sarah Harris; brothers, William (Tracy) Clevenger, Antimo (Bobbin) Iavarone, Pasquale (Lisa) Iavarone; sister, Antonia Iavarone (Samuel) Porteous; a nephew; numerous nieces and cousins; and best friend, Max, her dog. Maureen is best known for her faith, her fighting spirit and her never give up attitude, evidence of her 3 year and 8 ½ month courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
