Mary Pokrandt

Mary Baurenfeind Pokrandt, died at her home surrounded by her family and their love on June 27th, 2018 after a short but hard fought battle with cancer. Mary was born December 28th 1949. She was a graduate of Lourdes High School of Oshkosh, Wisconsin and J.F. Drake Nursing School, of Huntsville, Alabama.  Mary was a gifted caregiver whose natural talent and remarkable compassion shined in both her twenty-five years as a nurse and in her vocation as a wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Hansan Baurenfeind Hill; father Gilbert Baurenfeind; step-father Arthur Hill, and her grandchild A.J. Pokrandt. She is survived by her husband of 49 years Robert John Pokrandt, whom she married on June 7th, 1969, as well as her daughter Sarah Brink and son-in-law Billy Brink, her son Andrew Pokrandt and daughter-in-law Bradlie Pokrandt, four grandchildren; Kirsten Brink, Meghan Brink, Matthew Brink, and Simon Pokrandt; six siblings; Paula Autry, Barbara Pittack, Maggie Beese, William (Bill) Baurenfeind, James ( Jim) Baurenfeind, and Betsy Kromm, as well as more than a dozen nieces and nephews. Services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Circleville, Ohio on July 14th with Visitation at 10:00 am and Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00am.
