Margaret Ann McDonough

Margaret Ann McDonough (Thomas), age 89 passed away at 5:10 am, Sunday June 11, 2023 at Carriage Court Assisted Living in Grove City, Ohio.  Born May 31, 1934 in Lima, Ohio, daughter of Williard and Mae Thomas (Niles). 

Peg loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She also loved music and The Golden Girls.  Let's not forget her love for John Wayne.  Peg enjoyed taking cruises and traveled to Israel.  She was an avid reader  that read almost nonstop.  Peg retired from Nationwide Insurance after working there for many years.  She loved her root beer and Cupie hamburgers. 

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Phillip McDonough, son David McDonough and sister Janet Stuber.   Survived by her children,  Steve (Teri) McDonough of Bridgewater, New Jersey, Dennis (Teri) McDonough of Orient, Ohio and Susan (Keith) Maupin of Forest, Virginia.  Peg had 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren in addition to her sisters, Sandra Powers,  Sharon Barr and her brother John (Carol )Thomas.
