Mary Jean (Fogle) MacNealy passed away peacefully on Friday, October 29, 2021 in Hilliard, OH. She was born on January 26, 1945 in Noble County, OH to Otto "George" Joseph and Mary (Hesson) Fogle. She was proceeded in death by her parents; daughter Heather Michelle MacNealy; brother William Joseph Fogle; brothers-in-law Kenny MacNealy, Jack MacNealy and Bill MacNealy.
She is survived by husband of 55 years, David Michael MacNealy; son Sean Aaron MacNealy (Beth Ramey) Hilliard, OH; Brothers John Fogle, Caldwell, OH; Jim (Donna) Fogle, Caldwell, OH; Sister Ann Fogle, Cambridge, OH; 11 nieces and nephews; 19 great nieces and nephews; and God Children Chase Edward Carr and Lauren Marie Carr, Dublin, Ohio.
The foundation for a very firm and active faith was formed in her home parish, St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception, Fulda, Noble County, OH, which she continued to support and visit throughout her life. After moving to central Ohio, Jean became a faithful parishioner at St. Brendan the Navigator, Hillard, OH, with service as a member of the Altar Rosary Society, faithfully attending Mass and charitable support of the church and it's expansion.
Jean was active in her community and successful in business. She served in leadership roles at Ohio Bell and then AT&T for 35 years, leading offices in Columbus and Dayton, OH. She was an active member of the AT&T Pioneers service organization, supporting numerous charitable causes benefitting children including the Ronald McDonald House, Stowe Mission, supported campaigns to collect winter hats, gloves and coats, and raised funds to support Pilot Dogs.
There was no greater love in her life than her family and her friends. Jean spent countless hours at numerous race tracks around the United States, patiently supporting her son and her husband's love of racing. Jean was a selfless giver of her love, talent and treasure and recently communicated she had no grandchildren, but had adopted many, many grandchildren. Jean was loved and respected by all and has earned a well-deserved eternal reward in heaven.
