Mary E. Deems Floyd of Columbus, Age 88. Born Feb 18, 1927. Passed away May 2, 2015 while residing in Punta Gorda, FL. Retired from Gold Circle with 18 years. Preceded in death by Lafayette Deems and Phil Floyd; daughter Gloria; son Howard; granddaughter Jennifer; great-grandchildren Robert, Haley and Andrew. Survived by son Walter ‘Butch’ (Joyce) Deems of Columbus, OH; daughters Brenda (Tom) Quinn of Pataskala, OH and Deborah (Tim) Riggs of Punta Gorda, FL; grandchildren Angela, James, Tracy, Chad, CeeCee, Timothy and Cara; 15 great grand-children and 5 great great grand-children; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Member of American Legion Auxiliary for 29 years. Family will receives friends Thursday May 7, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. at the SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES, Clintonville Chapel, 4341 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43214. Where a funeral service will be held Friday 11:00 am. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
