Marquis T. Talley age 27 passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 9, 2020. Born on November 25, 1992 to Nicole Daniels and Brandon (Myra) Talley. Marquis was a devoted family member: caring and supportive friend, and courageous leader. He was an individual who would make you laugh in the midst of despair, possessed a special relationship with each individual he came across, everyone's favorite and the most loved.
Marquis is preceded in death by his grandfather Donald Johnson. He leaves behind to his strength, pride and love to his Daughter Amirah Talley and mother of his daughter, Faith Koenig; his mother Nicole Daniels, father Brandon (Myra) Talley; his brothers Kevin Wilson, Dashon Jaye, Andre Durham, Trequan Calhoun, sisters Marquisa Daniels, Takeziana Calhoun, and Victoria Jaye; with extended brothers and sisters, Martia Jaye, Shawnta Jaye, Quetta Jaye, and James Coady. His maternal great grandmother, Betty Brisco, grandmother Diane Daniels, Glenda Talley, Grandfather Willie Daniels of Brooklyn New York, Aunts Shameka Daniels snd Shirley Byers-Brown, Uncles Ronald Talley, William Talley, and Darryl McNeil of New York, New York; Bonus Father Kevin Wilson, Uncle Marco Houpe, special cousin Shanise Collins, and a host of other uncles, nieces; nephews and cousins.
The family will receive guests on August 17, 2020 from 11 am to noon at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Homes, Clintonville Chapel. Due to the current pandemic, the funeral service will be for family members only, but for those who would still like to be apart of the service there will be a live stream available on the Shaw-Davis Facebook page or at https://livestream.com/accounts/24744428/marquistalley starting at 12 pm. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, masks are required and attendance for the visitation will be limited to 50 people.
