Marie Alice Walter, age 85, passed away at Mount Carmel East Hospital on Friday, January 6,2017. Marie was born in Lancaster, Ohio on August 15th, 1931 to the late Gayle and Marie Eskew. Marie worked for Anchor Hocking Glass of Lancaster, Ohio for many years and then ran her own successful produce market on the west side of Columbus for almost thirty years.
She is survived by her daughter Tina Thompson, sons Tim(Karen) Walter and Joey(Candy) Walter, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Gayle and Marie Eskew, Buck Eskew(brother), Jean Haas(sister), Wanda Rowland(sister), and John Thompson(son-in-law).
