Marie Shirk

Marie Elizabeth Shirk age 91, born December 4th, 1929 in Delaware Ohio passed away March 23rd, 2021 at Wesley Glen.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents Emeline and Harry Nafus, brother Lester Nafus, sisters Cleora Haas and Gladys (Ducky) Webb.

Marie is survived by daughters Penny (Ray) Beach, Lori Edmond and son Steven Shirk, grandchildren Jami Howard, Kati (Chad) Abram, Bryan Edmond, Haley Elbin and Chris (Wendie) Edmond. She also has 6 great grandchildren she adores. Marie is also survived by her niece Shirley Aleshire.

Marie was what you would call a Crazy Cat Lady. She always had a houseful of cats including the strays that always seemed to find her. She was rarely seen without a cat on her lap.

Marie's family would like to thank the staff at Wesley Glen and Wesley Glen Hospice with a special thanks to Linda Raisley and Tim Johnson.
