Marie A. Schwinne, age 96, went home peacefully to the Lord on 5/9/2020. Marie was a Heavenly-minded woman of compassion who did earthly good as a lifelong devoted Catholic. Loving Godmother to many; Marie was an inspiring role model for all those whose lives she touched. Devoted to her family, she enjoyed any opportunity to spend time with those she loved and added so much to every gathering. Marie’s heart for friends made them like family. Her heartfelt talks looking into your eyes and holding your hand will be a forever memory for those closest to her. Marie embraced and expressed her Irish heritage with enthusiasm. Her brilliant mind at 96 still enjoyed social media and competitive games of Scrabble.
Retired from (Ross Laboratories) Abbott Laboratories. Preceded in death by parents, Francis J. Schwinne and Mary C. Masterson Schwinne, sisters Mildred (Peggy) Menkin and Joan Dunham, and very special nephew James R. Murray. Survived by niece Janet Murray-Wolfe and her family, Lori (Jerry Stierhoff) Baas-McCorkle, (Courtney Baas and Mallory McCorkle); James (Teresa) Murray, Susan (Samuel) Adkins (Austin Adkins and Zoey Adkins). Niece Julie (Richard) Schneider (Kim (Brad) Pierce, Stacy Schneider, and Jason (Leslie) Schneider). Nephew Jeff (Susan) Miller, Gary (Coby) Miller, Harvey Miller, many great-nieces and nephews, Rick (Rhonda) Caron and family, the Gueulette, and Burger families, and many dear loved ones.
