Marie Margaret (Thompson) Carr age 94 of Cincinnati passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday January 26, 2017.
She was born March 17, 1922 in Cincinnati, Ohio and preceded in death by parents Robert A. Thompson and Anna Glasmeier, husband Robert Carr, Sr. and daughter Lynn Fischer, sisters Anna & Etta Thompson, Clara Hurst, brothers Robert, John, and James Thompson.
Survived by son Robert (Karen) Carr, daughter Jane North, brother Joseph Thompson, sister Sally Cuesta and many other relatives, nieces and nephews.
She was blessed and dearly loved her grandchildren Craig (Julie) Fischer, Todd Fischer, Katie (Tony) Loth, Kelly Carr, Brandon (Sonya) North, Ryan (Amy) North, Robert North, Brooke (Sam) Hilty and Kit North. Eleven great-grandchildren Sam, Emma, Jake, Alyssa, Justin, Kylee, Khera, Elle, Tommy, Lucas and Graham.
She loved all sports and especially attending her grandkids games; also bowling, bingo, festivals, reading but mostly visiting with family.
We are grateful to her doctors, Covenant Village, Darby Glenn, Council on Aging and Bella Hospice for all of their care and compassion.
Mass of Christian Burial Friday, February 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Clements, 4536 Vine Street in Cincinnati, Ohio. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Cincinnati.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association.
