Marguerite “Sue” Mercurio

Marguerite “Sue” Mercurio (nee Kaylor), born January 14, 1934 in Columbus, died peacefully at home in Westerville, Ohio on October 11, 2020 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.  Preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Dick Mercurio, her son, Marc, a brother, Jim Kaylor, and parents. Sue is survived by her loving son Rick Mercurio (Sally Luken), her cherished grand-daughter Anna Maria Mercurio, beloved siblings Nancy and Gordon, and the entire Kaylor family.  She is also survived by her long-time companion and friend, James Gregerson, with whom she shared many years of fun, friends and life as snowbirds in Naples FL. Services are Friday October 23, 2020 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery Chapel, Lockbourne, OH with interment immediately following next to her soul-mate Dick. Social distancing and masks will be honored. Sue was known for her cooking, organizing happy hours, social gatherings and her wit. The family would like to thank Gracie our caring health aide, all of Sue’s many friends and neighbors for their kind messages and gestures. In lieu of flowers, we request you send flowers or share a funny story with someone who needs joy now in life.
