Margaret "Peg" Brunton

Margaret “Peg” E. Brunton, 89 passed away peacefully November 17, 2018 at Kobacker House with her devoted daughter Margaret (Conkle) by her side.

Margaret was born in Centerville, Maryland to William and Catherine (Brown) Everitt. She loved the bay and shared many memories of her time growing up in Maryland. She worked for Franklin Country Children Services for over 25 years. She provided assistance for families in need even after retirement. She loved children of all ages and was fondly referred to as “grandma” by countless individuals she helped over the years. She enjoyed cooking and watching baseball, particularly the Baltimore Orioles and the Columbus Clippers.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Edd, brother William Everitt and son Daniel (Michelle) Rogers. She is survived by her daughters Margaret (Doug) Conkle, Susan (Duke) Finnigan and son Tom (Diane) Rogers. Margret is also survived by nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The family wishes to express their upmost praise and gratitude for the staff at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Kobacker House for providing outstanding care for not only Margaret but also for her family.

A celebration of life will be held at later date. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Kobacker House or to Franklin County Children Services.
