Margaret Eileen Wills “Sissy” (1951-2025)
Margaret Eileen Wills “Sissy”, age 73, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on January 4, 2025 surrounded by loving family.
Sissy was born on April 15, 1951 in Rushville, Indiana, the daughter of Leonard and Martha Wills, née Bryant. After graduating from Rushville Consolidated High School, Sissy worked for Ford Motor Company/Visteon Corporation until she retired. She was a group supervisor as a line worker in assembly. Sissy was fork truck certified and one of the top ten females in the position. She and her coworkers enjoyed racing the forklifts and Sissy would beat the men everytime. Sissy was loved by everyone she worked with.
Sissy was a loving aunt and made it a priority to be involved in the lives of her nieces and nephews. Whether it was going to a sporting event, holiday, graduation, a visit, or a phone call, she was always there for her nieces and nephews.
Sissy was a dedicated member of the AA program, where she found strength and purpose in sobriety. She was always willing to share her story to help others on their own journey. Sissy inspired many with her unwavering dedication to sobriety. Through this program she was able to form lifelong friendships with some amazing people.
After retiring Sissy became a compassionate volunteer at LifeCare Alliance, a nonprofit organization that provides health and nutrition services to older adults and chronically ill or homebound residents of Central Ohio. Sissy devoted her time to delivering Meals-on-Wheels and worked with the Groceries To Go program.
Sissy was an active and faithful member of Truth Fellowship Center Church where she became an ordained deacon on August 26, 2012.
Sissy was preceded in death by her parents: Leonard and Martha Wills,née Bryant; her brother: Charles W. Warfield III; her nieces: Valynnda Bennett (Wills), Cassandra Eileen (Begley) Jaramillo-Villatoro, and Jaleesa Morris; and her nephew: Mark Pierce. Followed in death by her brother Leonard Wills.
Remaining to cherish Sissy’s memory are brother: Levi (Cynthia) Pierce; sisters in law: Delores Warfield and Peggy Mcdougal; nieces and nephews: Matthew (Marie) Pierce, Julie Ann, Aliyah, Isaiah, Sarah, and Stephanie Pierce, Monet, Shamelle, Charles IV, and Keya Warfield, Henry Begley (Wendy Keck Daugherty), and Dante (Lacreshia) Morris; and many great nieces and nephews.
