Margaret (Maggie) Hart

Maggie Hart, 62, of Columbus, passed on to heaven February 16, 2018. She leaves behind her sisters, Teresa (Thomas) Moslak and the Rev. Kathleen (James) Brumm, and her brother David D. Hart (Jenny). She is predeceased by her parents, David and Elizabeth Hart, a sister, Mary, and a brother, Michael. Also preceding her in death were her many “fur babies,” rescue dogs and cats which she took in and cared for throughout her adult life.

Maggie graduated from York (PA) Catholic High School in 1974 and York Hospital School of Nursing in 1979. She obtained her BSN from Otterbein College in 2004. Maggie was a certified critical care nurse at Ohio State University’s Children’s Hospital in the Neonatal ICU and was celebrated for her whimsical artwork on babies’ nametag birth packets. She also used her considerable artistic talent to create art and ceramics for her small business, Hart’s Heirlooms.

She was a generous supporter of the work of God. While her work precluded direct involvement in ministry, it aided the congregations of the Christian Assembly on Karl Road and St. Matthias’ Roman Catholic Church.
