Marabel Piersol

Marabel Jean Piersol, (Shrigley) went to home to be with Lord Wednesday January 4, 2017. Born September 24, 1924 to Earl and Edna (Ross) Shrigley. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bob) Piersol of 57 years. She is survived by her children Sheri Piersol and Jon Piersol and her granddaughter Kama (Martin) Demczyk and great grandson Ephram Demczyk. She graduated from Sunbury High School (Big Walnut) in 1942 and Bliss College in 1943. She was a home maker and an avid member of Beechwold Christian Church, where she taught Sunday school , VBS and was a deaconess. A member of several Bible Studies and the Friendship class, past president of ARC #28, Kiwanis and an advocate for children with disabilities for many years. Also member of Clintonville Women Club where she was a past president. She volunteered her time at the Clintonville Resource Center and Riverside Hospital. Visitation hours will be Monday January 9 from 6-8 pm at BEECHWOLD CHRISTIAN CHURCH 280 Morse Rd. Cols 43214, where funeral service will held Tuesday 7 pm. with visitation starting at 6 pm. Bob and Jean where instrumental in starting the can food ministry at their church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Beechwold Christian Church food pantry.
