Mackenzie Lundquist passed away on Sunday, July 9 2023, after a long fight since June 2022. She was 27. Mackenzie was born on October 1, 1995, in Westerville, Ohio. Mackenzie lived her whole life in Westerville, where she attended Central College Christian Academy, Genoa Middle School and Westerville Central High School. After high school she went to Columbus State Community College.
Kenzie was a talented cheerleader, cheering all the way through college, and loved to do fun dances on TikTok. She was one of the most kind-hearted and gentle souls you would ever meet.
In her short life, Mackenzie was able to accomplish so many things but her biggest, most recent accomplishment was purchasing her own home. When she wanted something bad enough, she made it happen! Kenzie loved hanging out with her nephew, Oakland (who she nicknamed Oakers) and could not wait to take him to one of her favorite places someday, Cedar Point. She also got to meet and hold her niece Collins, who would've been her best friend.
Mackenzie is survived by her parents, Jon and Dixie, and by her older sister, Morgan (Brother in Law, Max) Shawver and younger brother Mason Lundquist, grandparents John and Ramona Douglas, Her Aunt Melanie App, Uncle Jeff Douglas and their Families.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 10:30am. at Genoa Baptist Church.
Her parents ask that in lieu of flowers, donations in Mackenzie's memory are made to Genoa Christian Academy for a scholarship in Mackenzie's name so that student can have the opportunity for a Christian education that she cherished.
