Lucille E Halsey

Lucille E Halsey (Moringy), age 92, died November 5, 2022 at Whetstone Rehabilitation Center in Columbus Ohio. Born March 14, 1930 in Houston Texas to the late Pete and Annie Moringy.

Lucille moved to Columbus Ohio with Eugene in 1950 from Houston to start a family. Retired from Chemical Abstracts after many years. She was an avid reader, liked to collect knick-knacks, and loved cats. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Halsey, brother Pete Moringy, sister Mildred, daughter Pattie Devine, son-in-law Dennis Devine, and grandson Colin Devine.  She is survived by her daughter Vicky Halsey, sons Pete Halsey and Phil Halsey (Teri), grandchildren Brian Devine, Christine Moeller (Bradley), Casey Devine (Helen), Leslie Halsey, and great grandchildren, Lauren, Miriam, Alex, Alayna, and Hunter.

Shaw-Davis Funeral Homes is handling the final arrangements. Per her last wishes, no services are planned.
