It is with great sadness the Destine family announce of the passing of Louisa Destine. Louisa was born in Ouanaminthe, Haiti on April 28, 1950 to Mr. and Mrs. Gracius Charles. Louisa was preceded in death by sister Odette and is survived by brother Gracia Charles, sister Clautude Simon and brother Gaudin Charles.
Louisa passed on Friday August 14, 2020 at 03:05 at Mount Carmel with her husband and two of her children at her side. Louisa and Louis shared 47 precious years in their lives. She was the mother of 5 children along with her husband Louis.
Steve, Zitha, Pauline, Elizabeth and Danelle. She’s been blessed with eight grandchildren. Kaylee, Chad, Chanel, Clervain, Sebastien, Elise, Maria and Zach.
Sons and daughter in law: Hinelite Paul Destine, Jean Clervain Dorsainvil, Kissi Lenaud, Robert Seraphin, James Cash.
Louisa Destine was an amazing woman of prayer who truly believed in her relationship with God based in Christian and evangelistic faith. Louisa will be remembered as a selfless, loving, humble, compassionate, courageous, an inspiring and a spiritual person with a wonderful sense of humor.
She graduated from Emmaus Vocational Bible School in Haiti in April of 1973. She joined Radio 4VEH while she was still a student in 1972 doing secretarial work. She married to Louis Destine on August 25, 1973.
Louisa was exceptionally committed to humanitarian works and her passion was to encourage and help others to know the truth of the Bible.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday August 28, 2020 at the Evangelique des Sanctifies, 4525 Glenmawr Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43224. The family will receive guests from 9 am to 10 am with the funeral beginning at 10 am. Due to the current pandemic, the family asks that there be no touching your hugging while visiting the family. Masks and social distancing will be required throughout the entire service.
