Louis “Luke” Lee Fry, 77 year old of Croton, Ohio passed away July 23, 2024 at St. Ann’s surrounded by his loving family. Born April 14, 1947 in Coshocton, Ohio to Irwin and Ada (Taylor) Fry.
On August 17, 1968 he married his wife Connie (Wolfe) and put down permanent roots in Croton where they raised 3 daughters. He was a member of the Croton Church of Christ. In his younger years he was a member of the Hartford Volunteer Fire Department. He loved the open road and driving his semi. He retired after being a long haul truck driver for over 40 years.
Luke was a long time Cleveland Browns fan and would call his daughters to make sure they were watching the game as well. It would be common seeing him going to his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids sporting events where he was always the loudest in the crowd. He was their biggest and proudest fan.
He loved his family and enjoyed being around his grandkids. That always put a smile on his face. There was not a stranger that he did not know. If anyone needed help, he would be the first one to lend a helping hand. Anyone that the met Luke could not help but like him. He was an all around friendly and good guy.
