Lisa Kay Milligan

Lisa Kay Milligan (Ferguson), age 63, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Grant Medical Center Hospital in Columbus, Oh. She was born December 05, 1961, in Columbus, to George and Dorothy (Love) Ferguson. She was a 1981 graduate of Licking Heights High school, Licking County Joint Vocational School, and 2005 graduate of DeVry University with a Bachelors in Java Scripting. She worked at Lucent Technologies as a Senior Technical Associate for most of her adult life. Lisa had many loves in life, her main love was of her God Jehovah. Being a dedicated Jehovah’s Witness, Lisa loved talking, sharing and making Jehovah her own, she was taught the truth at a young age by her mother Dorothy Ferguson, and raised in the Gahanna Congregation in Ohio, she dedicated her life to Jehovah on September 13, 1980. Loving to preach about Jehovah’s great works and blessing, Lisa became a Pioneer in 2009 through the Pioneer school at the Eastland Congregation. A second love of Lisa’s was her grandchildren Sachi Milligan, Danielle Higgs, Monica Higgs, and Jessica Higgs. Lisa is survived by her children Adam Milligan, and Miya Higgs (Milligan), brother and sister George (Tom) Ferguson Jr. and Karen Gibson (Ferguson), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lisa wanted a scripture to be given to uplift the ones about her passing (Revelation 21:4) “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” She will see you all in the paradise world, just as Jesus said in (Luke 23:43) “Truly I tell you today, you will be with me in Paradise.”

Thank you to everyone that shared a moment in Lisa’s life. Her day of remembrance will be at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1555 College Ave, Columbus, OH 43209, at 1:00pm on Friday March 7th, 2025. We invite you all to come remember the good times we all had with Lisa.
