Linda (Papp) Sharrer, a talented artist, musician, and ceramic studio owner, passed away peacefully in hospice care on Monday, December 2, 2024.
Born on November 9, 1945, in Columbus, Ohio, Linda grew up with her parents, Frank and Jeanette Papp. She retired from Affordable Dentures in Zanesville and was a proud member of the Ohio Country and Western Music Association. In 2000, she and her husband, Gene, were inducted into the Muskingum County Country Music Hall of Fame.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Denney; son, Harold Pack; sister, Gloria (Pat) Brehm; sister-in-law, Lorena Papp; stepdaughter, Marcella (Ross) Mehrmann; granddaughter and caretaker Angel Pack and seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gene; parents, Frank and Jeanette Papp; sister, Vickie (Jeff) Stone; brothers, Bill, Steve, and Rusty Papp; in-laws, Ruby and Fred Sharrer; Dorothy (Bill) King, Sparky Hughes, and Gloria (Carl) Price.
In honor of Linda’s life and legacy, the family has planned a celebration of life on January 12th 2025 at The Moose Lodge located at 5370 Grace St, Hilliard, OH 43026. Park and enter through the side door. Hours are from 2pm-5pm.
