Linda Goodale

Linda A. Goodale, 85, of Worthington Christian Village passed away March 2, 2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital surrounded by family. She was born on May 8, 1938 in Owosso, Michigan to Lafayette and Evelyn (Rowe) Phillips. She married Paul Goodale on Nov. 7, 1959 in Flushing, Michigan. 

 Linda grew up in Flushing, Michigan.  She graduated from Hurley Hospital School of Nursing in Flint, Michigan in 1959. Linda raised four children and worked as an allergy nurse for Dr. Emily Bandera in Ypsilanti, Michigan for over 20 years. She loved reading, baking, gardening, traveling, and living on Coldwater Lake. She loved her husband, her children, and especially loved having her grandchildren around her. She loved playing on the floor with her great grandchildren. Linda was a member of the Coldwater United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed helping others in her community.. 

 Linda is survived by her daughter, Sue (Tony) Trubiani of Lewis Center, Ohio; three sons, Keith (Lorie) Goodale of  Sterling Kansas, John Goodale of Carbondale, Illinois, and Mike (Tawny) Goodale of Ann Arbor, Michigan; 10 grandchildren, Andrew Trubiani, Rachel (Justin) Rosile, Jake (Abby), Ben (Allison), Zach, Lydia, Sarah (Jacob), Samantha, Mary and Jack Goodale; 2 great grandchildren, Olin and Sophia; a brother, Wayne (Jane) Phillips of Marquette, Michigan; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Goodale,her daughter in-law Beth Goodale, her mother Evelyn Phillips, and father Lafayette Phillips.

 A memorial service will be held at Worthington Christian Village, 165 Highbluffs Boulevard, Columbus, Ohio at 3:00 pm. There will be a gathering of family and friends with food after the service.
