Lidia S. Soliman (Known as Paulette Ghaly) passed away on March 5, 2020. She was born on June 29, 1933 in Cairo, Egypt to Selim and Helen Negm.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fouad Ghaly, her parents and her Brother Soliman. Paulette, beloved mother and grandmother, godmother and aunt is survived by two children, Farid Ghaly(Dina) and Pierrette Ghaly-Gyor(Dennis), brothers Kamal Negm(Christel), Magdi Negm(Andrea deceased) sister Yvette Gamester(Dickie) and two grandchildren, Selim Ghaly and Camelia Ghaly, and six nephews and one niece. Paulette lived with her daughter and son-in-law Dennis E. Gyor in the United States for the last eleven years. Paulette worked as the manager of Vartan jewelry store in Cairo, Egypt for 29 years. In her eighty-six years she captured the hearts of everyone she met with her kindness, caring, helpful, and loving manner.
Paulette leaves behind many cherished friends around the world and her radiant inning and outer beauty combined with her incredible faith in Jesus Christ ensures she will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved others as God loved her and she will rest in eternal peace in heaven. Funeral mass will be held March 12, 2020 at Resurrection Cemetery Chapel in Lewis Center, Ohio at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Ohio Health Hospice.
