Leona Spaulding

Leona Spaulding, 67, went to be with the Lord September 9^th, 2022. She was born April 18, 1955, in Lenore WV. She was the daughter of Wilburn Evans and Genevieve (Marcum) Evans. Leona graduated from Lenore high school in 1973. Leona is preceded in death by her husband Donald Spaulding in 2004. Brother in laws Robert Adkins and Charles Jude. Leona is survived by her three children Naomi Stepp, Christopher Spaulding, and Joshua Spaulding. Three Sisters Oretha Bailey, Beth Farley, and Joyce Jude. Two Brothers Okie Evans and Wilburn Evans Jr. Ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren and dearly loved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Leona spent her life dedicated to God. She loved her family and friends. She enjoyed hunting and fishing in her free time. She worked at Techneglas and was also a truck driver for many years. She volunteered at Sunday school and had a love for children. She adored her grandbabies and always had a kind heart, and smile on her face. She was known for her faith and outgoing personality.

A public memorial service will be held at 6pm September 24, 2022 at Lincoln Park Baptist Church on 675 East Markison Ave, Columbus OH. 43207.
